Kelley Branscombe has unwittingly gone to the Meridian Coffee House and gotten involved with a bet between her fraternal brother, Mercury, her new-found friend Cecilia Hamilton and the three Norman sisters.
As the double trios go over evidence with the Meridian's co-owners, there seems to be myserious activity and mischief. So, Mercury ups the ante of the bet. He won't play unless there is some skin in the game.
Another tale from the upcoming collection. This one is based on a real coffee house that experienced similiar phenomena. The characters are all fictional.
