    About ForgivenIAm Publishing House

It is the mission of ForgivenIAm Publishing House to present fiction, exposition, songs and poetry that offer a chance of discovery through a journey of imagination and intellect.  The goal is to present high quality, high content material that can engage the readers on as many levels as possible: entertainment, enlightenment, enrichment, and empowerment.

This house believes in the sanctity of the idea.  Ideas have a life of their own.  They are eternal and are born after time and travail into a messy world that may not care about their existence, but that same world needs and seeks after these ideas.  Ideas drive history.  People find an idea and then act upon it.  Once the ideas have been fashioned into words, they go forth into the world and do not fade away even if they become dog-eared, blotched, faded, miscopied, misquoted, paraphrased, transposed, erased, censored, banned, burned, or lost.  Words always find a home.  Words are dormant seeds in the desert of life.  Asleep until watered or acted upon.

This house believes in the craftsmanship of writing: prose and poetry.  This house recognizes that structure is inherit in the physical outcome of the forms of ideas.  The forms as the possibilities and plan are eternal.  The structure is a finite and final physical shape.  There are many forms and many structures and many genres and many tropes.  This house aims to pursue publishing lines and works of fantasy, horror, philosophy, theology, poetry, songwriting with the Word as its primary source.

This house holds these truths to be self-evident: that there is a Creator-God, that there is a Godhead (Father, Son, and Spirit), that all humans were/are/will be created in His image and that samesaid humans were/are/will be therefore created equal, that everyone is endowed with certain unalienable rights, that among these innumerable powers rest the sanctity of life, the right to liberty, the pursuit of living, getting knowledge, receiving wisdom, making freewill choices, attaining and stewarding riches, pursing gifts and dreams and stewarding them, receiving visions, the right and condition of being safe, pursuing and holding onto love, and receiving Grace and the power of forgiveness, making mistakes, making amends, giving all glory to God, and never giving up.

This house holds this as TRUTH: it is okay to fail, it’s not okay to give up.  No one can live up to a perfect life without mistakes.  Life is messy.  We are in control of very little beyond our attitude and our dreams.  We get in our way of ourselves.  No one can live up to their own ideals, yet alone anyone else’s, so how can we say we can live up to God’s law.?  We can’t.  We can’t be righteous.  We are broken. We need forgiveness of the highest power.  We have to take on God’s righteousness to cover for our brokenness.  We need to submit our lives, surrender our control to the Most High.  In submitting and surrendering to Grace, we can have peace and life and liberty restored.

Located in the Ozarks, a place of spring fed rivers and karst style bluffs and quiet, humble beauty, this house is also dedicated to serving the community through education of children and adults, ministries of helps, ministries of worship, and the strengthening of family relationships and obligations.  A kind word and a kind smile go along well with good food and good help.  A good laugh goes along well with a good lesson.

“And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lordchoose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”  Joshua 24:15 NKJV
